Yesterday's URAC meeting was the annual White Elephant sale, and there was plenty of stuff that was sold; from fresh baked goodies to old radios, antennas, tubes and so on. Jim KQ6EA was the Auctioneer (as usual). The bidding got a little wild at times; other items that were up for bids were clothing, caps and more. The break room was packed and some folks went home with lots of trinkets. All the proceeds are going to fund Field Day. A "good job" to Jim for the good auctioneer he is. The baked goodies, as always, went fast. Plenty of home-made brownies and home-made cup cakes (and other goodies) by Gina, our resident baker. Thanks for all the goodies.
