During my shift at K6AA, while tuning around the dial I heard this interesting call K0WAR. I gave them a call and, to my surprise, they came right back. I had a great chat with Paul; he told me I had reached the Wings Over The Rockies Aviation Museum. WOW!! That was Great! Located near Denver, Colorado, their web site is www.wingsmuseum.org. Paul told me about their museum which contains vintage and modern aircraft. I had a look at their web site, it's a really nice place. They have B-52 and B-1 bombers, P-51 to F-86 fighters, as well as an F-14 Tomcat. After getting the full rundown on his club and museum, I gave him the rundown on our club and our museum. It was a true Museum-to-Museum contact. I highly recommend checking out their museum web site. I hope to visit some time soon. Of particular note, you can go for a ride on some of their Prop Jobs.
