USS IOWA Coming to San Pedro |

Some good news for San Pedro! Battle Ship USS IOWA has been awarded to San Pedro and should be in port by year's end. It's going to be a big tourist attraction both as a Ship Museum and a Memorial. It will be towed out of Suisun Bay in October, worked on in Northern California, then towed to San Pedro by the end of the year. Grand Opening should be around the 4th of July, 2012. Another beauty like the SS Lane victory.
