URAC Christmas/Holiday Party |

It was a nice evening as we all gathered at the Think Café for our annual Christmas/Holiday Party. With about 42 in attendance, we enjoyed a good time shooting the breeze. A little after 7pm, they took dinner orders. Our meals came pretty fast, starting with soup or salad then the main course. Yum yum, the food was good! There was a nice selection of desserts from which to choose, after which Dale W7IXL brought around a canister with numbers for the Thieves Gift Exchange. You had to bring a gift to participate. The gift exchange started pretty nicely, and as more of the good gifts came out the stealing really got into full swing. There were all sorts of goodies/gifts, from chocolate to alcohol and tools to cute stuffed animals (which sang and flashed lights). As usual, it was a fun time for all who came.
Next came the swearing in of the new Officers who start their term January 1st, 2012. Should be another great year with URAC!
