GREAT TO BE CALLED by your Maratime musieum!
Great being part of a demo for the folks there....special because in June 1010 was at KPH/KSM Bolinis and Reyas sight for Saturday CW bullitan transmission and tour both places....also got tour "building #1" on Friday before.
The job of you and the other musiems/ships will help keep alive a great and useful time in our country...the men and wemen who made and make up the maretime service are the GREATEST....this country was built on HARD WORK and CW was a part of that.
THANKS FOR KEEPING IT ALIVE...

John, I enjoyed our QSO on 146.52 the other day. I live in Kailua-Kona, on the west side of the Big Island, in Hawaii. I was using a UHF HT, going through a Motorola repeater at my home QTH, into an AllStar node, then to another AllStar node in Rancho Palos Verdes, controlling a frequency agile, dual band remote base, with a Kenwood 707. 73 and aloha from the Big Island.

I miss the days I was an active member of URAC. Some of the radio kits that we distributed really sent out a postive message around the world. I hope this activity is still going on. I also miss being the VHF operator during ARRL Field Day - the ability to work literally hundreds of stations on 2 M is unique to the Los Angeles area. Good luck URAC.
