Excluding August and December, the United Radio Amateur Club meets the third Friday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Los Angeles Maritime Museum at the foot of Sixth Street in San Pedro, California.

- February Meeting -

The speaker will be Clint Bradford, K6LCS.  He will be presenting Working Amateur Satellites with your HT.  Please see the tutorial (click here) before the meeting.  AO-51 will have a workable pass at 5:17 that evening.  If you want to arrive early, Clint will be working the satellite from the parking lot.  The meeting starts at 7 pm.


 

  TO GET TO THE MEETING ROOM:

  • Enter through the gate in the fence at the left (North) side of the museum.
  • Follow the posted signs.
  • Enter through the door at the back of the museum.
  • If the meeting is to be held in the normal location: "The Brass Room," turn right then go down the hall and up the stairs.
  • It the meeting has been announced to be held in: "The classroom," proceed straight ahead after entering the door at the back of the museum.

No Host Breakfast

The Club’s No-host Breakfast is held 8:00 am on the First Saturday of each month at the Think Cafe at 302 W. 5th Street, San Pedro, CA

Club Net

Held weekly on Thursdays at 8pm. Primary = WA6TMJ repeater (145.380; –600; PL 100).
If the repeater is unavailable, our Net will automatically be convened on:
      The Club Frequency - 145.52 MHz simplex.
